This release of Eos Navigator delivers numerous enhancements and new features, including:
- New estimate versioning
The new estimate versioning feature formalizes an industry-standard work process with the ability to create estimate iterations. While you are always working with the most recent version of the estimate, you can easily reference the complete version history in Navigator.
- Expanded project and estimate locking
This release expands the locking functionality to include the ability to lock and unlock projects. Once locked, the project, along with the related estimates, are available for viewing, but cannot be modified.
- Revised estimate approval workflow
The estimate approval workflow better aligns with other, similar features in this release. In addition to the workflow revisions, the Approval History window was completely redesigned. You can also make approval levels contingent on estimate amount thresholds.
- Configurable estimate validation
The estimate validation feature automatically inspects your estimates and generates a detailed findings report. Navigator records the validation results in the Activity History panel for easy reference. Eos Group Professional Services can prepare custom validation scripts to make sure your estimates conform to your company’s business rules.
