Eos Group, Inc. has announced an update to their 2011 Piping Database. The Piping Database is designed to support construction cost estimating for utilities, owners, design engineers and contractors in the area of piping for facilities and industrial plants.

Designed for use with Sage Timberline Office Estimating, the database contains over 93,000 items, 70 assemblies and 1 parametric model. This release adds some additional content to the previous piping database to make it more useful in the oil and gas sector for midstream and downstream facilities. Complete coverage of the API-5L piping specification is now included. Additionally, content was added for launchers and receivers, strainers, orifice plates, straightening vanes, valve extensions and operators, and various coatings, linings, and weightings.
